Wastewater and landfill gas are fed through the same system.
By the end of the year 2002 the company “HIS Ljubljana” completed the 6th part of the landfill “Barje - Ljubljana”. A special design of the drainage pipes combined the drainage and degassing function to one system. In certain areas PP pipes were chosen to guarantee the calculated static demand even at high temperatures.
