The HYDROCLICK system is ideal for the rehabilitation of water tanks, as it can be laid either on the primed concrete wall or directly on the old lining. The installation system with click profiles and click studs allows enormous time and cost savings. Thanks to the high quality of the HYDROCLICK System, it is excellent chemical and biological resistance and has a very long lifetime expectancy. This was also the motivation of a stainless steel manufacturer who wanted to improve the quality of feed water for a boiler. The choices were stainless steel linings, tiles, epoxy resin and polyethylene (HYDROCLICK ).
Installation was also the easiest of all the systems available. AGRU sales partner Atolli installed a total of 350 m² of the thermoplastic lining in the 240 m³ reservoir of feeding water for boiler.
One-two click!
The click profile is matched to the click stud of the panel and is coextruded with an electrically conductive polyethylene layer in the welding zone. This greatly facilitates high-voltage spark testing after welding. In a first step, the click profiles are mechanically fixed on a flat concrete area. Tiles, epoxy coatings or other coatings can be left into the tank if the surface is flat; otherwise, it is required to remove the old lining. Then the HYDROCLICK sheets are clicked into place. By means of extrusion welding, the joints are welded tight. The distance studs provide a gap between concrete and lining. This gap creates a rear-ventilation effect that demonstrably prevents further corrosion of the concrete behind the thermoplastic lining. The tightness of the HYDROCLICK system can be easily checked due the fact of an installed leakage control pipe on the deepest point of the tank.
