Successful cooperation between AGRU Kunststofftechnik GmbH and University of Applied Sciences Steyr!
The main objective was to evaluate the integration possibilities of the Celonis process analysis tool in order to gain valuable insights into the performance of internal processes. As part of this, data was extracted from the ERP system, carefully cleansed and integrated into Celonis. The result? A significant increase in data transparency thanks to the dedicated work of Eric Gottenhuber, Andres Eder, Lukas Eder and Ivan Dramac.
"The collaboration with renowned educational institutions such as the University of Applied Sciences Steyr is of great importance to us. It opens up new perspectives and promotes our continuous improvement efforts," emphasize the two project supervisors Daniel Fechtig (Head of Innovation & Digitalization Department) and Martin Bauer (Head of Controlling Department).
"This project was a great success for our company. The project group identified specific optimization potential that will enable us to make our processes even more efficient in the future and ultimately serve our customers in an even more targeted manner. At the same time, the collaboration gave us students an exciting insight into complex company processes and enabled us to gain valuable experience for our future careers," explained project manager Ivan Dramac, who is both an employee at AGRU and a student. Ms. Sonja Straßer, project supervisor from the University of Applied Sciences Steyr, agreed: "In this project, the students had the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the Process Mining course directly in a practical context and to learn about the challenges of a real production environment. They mastered this task to the satisfaction of everyone involved."
We would like to thank the students for their outstanding project and their commitment. Their work has made a significant contribution to helping us move towards more efficient business processes. We look forward to further exciting collaborations and new impetus from outside.
