AGRU PE-nature cutting board for game meat processing

In 2017, AGRU supplied a customer who is dedicated to this activity or passion. An integral part of this activity is the disassembly of the prey, which should take place on a suitable substrate in order to achieve both an optimal meat hygiene and a good quality of cut.

A cutting board made of wood is often used for this activity, which, however, absorb liquids due to its property and the costly cleaning is not the optimal material for this treatment. In addition, the blades dull after a certain time in consequence of the hard surface. For this reason, the customer was interested in an alternative product.

In order to meet the high requirements in terms of food-safety, ease of cleaning and the soft surface, a pressed PE-nature sheet with a thickness of 30 mm was used for this application. The sheet  dimensions requested by the customer were milled by in-house mechanical machining of AGRU.

The cutting boards manufactured by AGRU have already been in use for more than a year, and the customer is enthusiastic about the quality as well as the handling of the cutting boards.
